We kiln dry our logs to reduce their moisture content to an acceptable level of 15 to 19%. The advantages of our kiln drying process are incomparable with previous technology as wood stress is eliminated. Therefore, the wood does not strain, crack or need to settle and the log home is immediately habitable.
This building technology does not use sealant and jointing because they are not required. This means no shrinkage at all on the home.
